AND it checks out with a good mechanic that knows Z cars, then it could be worth a lot more than you'd think. A car is what someone is willing to pay for it. I know in my case the $12K I paid was a bit more than others would, but it was worth it to me...especially for a California car. If the guy doesn't have a specified price, go check the bluebook on the car for your area and offer him a little below that and see what he says. Work from there.
